It has been a while since I have posted on my blog. My life truly has been a roller-coaster, but I prefer in somewhat. I have heard an interesting one-liner today which totally describes my life: “there isn’t such a thing as a bad day, only a character building dat.” My life these past 5 months summarized.
I dream of being a world-famous blogger one day. And spreading The Word of The Lord via my blog. My attention has to build towards that and my hope is to be more discipline towards that.
I know also if I am faithful with that, then The Lord will reward me with my dream.
I was not even planning to say that. Just added it in for good measure
I want to share what happened to me Spiritually these past three weeks. And it is based on Jeremiah 29 verse 13:
You will seek Me, and you will find me because you will seek me with all your heart
Since Covid hit the world, I knew the importance of seeking Jesus, but I did it out of habit and religion. I knew God wants our heart and not our religion. Somehow I forget that, because I always say, common knowledge is not always common practice.
We were worshipping in church a couple of weeks ago and the pastor stopped and said he has to say this. He started speaking to all the men and said we should stop worshipping with our minds and start worshipping with our hearts. I think that is a general problem with us men in born-again Christian circles.
I felt that he spoke directly to me .
After those words I was intentional with worshipping with my heart and what a massive change in my walk with God.
Since then I truly grew closer with God. My hunger for more went to a whole new level and it has that feeling when you get when you recently gave your life to The Lord.
You know that feeling right? That butterflies type feeing of excitement, fire, appreciation and love.
What an amazing feeling.
That is precisely what Jeremiah said that when you seek The Lord with all your heart you will find Him.
Lots of people only read up until verse 11 which is a very popular verse. Where God talks about your bright future. But what a gem of a verse I found in verse 13. Seeking Jesus with all your heart.
Have you only been seeking Jesus out of habit like me? Or have you been seeking Him with al your heart?
Try it. I promise you that God draw close to you as you draw close to Him.
