The answer is short and sweet, absolutely fantastic.
Good day Fam. It has been a while since a have written an actual post. Due to certain circumstances I have lost a lot of inspiration. Depression covered me. Was not pretty. But Jesus is always there to pick me up and lift me up. Even above an earlier glorious state. Almost like an athlete who ran a new personal best. That’s how Jesus molds you and constantly improves your ways and thinking.
I always try to get myself involved in the works of The Lord. I love to do it. I always try to make myself available. I might not be the most talented person in the room, but I will carry the most passion and my heart is always willing.
As I was busy sorting out a thing or two for the small group that we are going to have this week, it was just as if my heart became overjoyed to do The Lords work. Isn’t that amazing? Being involved in doing God’s work.
Do you know what is even better than that? The fact that we are so imperfect, but God allow us to do a perfect work. I am so unqualified, but God qualified me. In my view, that is the work of God in its purest form.
While I was presenting a lesson to early age teenagers this Sunday, God gave me the picture of what is written in 2 Corinthians 4:7-9:
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed
We are broken pots of clay, but God still allow His treasure to be shined through our brokenness. I can’t even express in words the feeling I have when I think of that. Saying unbelievable doesn’t do God any justice. So amazing.
Jesus, thank You for who you are. Please help me to do Your work, wherever I move. I am so unqualified, but You qualify me. And I am so grateful for that. I love You Lord and thank You for loving me that You died for me. Amen
